CANCELLATION PENALTY

Cancellations are subject to the following penalties of the full trip price:

• Deposits are non-refundable

• 90–60 days prior to arrival: 50% penalty

• 59–0 days prior to arrival: 100% penalty
   

PAYMENT TERMS

• A 20%–30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation (depending on the property).

• Final balance is due 90 days prior to arrival.
   

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Painteddog Safari strongly recommends purchasing a travel protection plan to help safeguard you and your investment against the unexpected. Coverage may include Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay, and more.

Please note: To be eligible for the waiver of the pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the plan must be purchased within 15 days (Travel Basic) or 21 days (Travel Select) of your initial deposit. Plans may still be purchased any time prior to departure.

DOCUMENTATION

It is the passenger’s responsibility to secure all proper travel documentation in advance. A passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates is required. Visas may also be required depending on the destination. Passengers are responsible for confirming visa requirements with the relevant consulates and for obtaining all necessary documents prior to travel. Visa fees are not included.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Passengers are responsible for complying with all health regulations and taking necessary health precautions prior to travel.
 

AIR TRANSPORTATION & PASSENGER NAME

Air transportation is based on economy class travel as specified in each itinerary. Some local flights within a program may be arranged separately. Airfares are non-refundable once tickets have been issued and/or travel has commenced.
 

Tickets must be issued in the exact name as shown on the passenger’s passport. Due to new security measures, even minor name corrections may require reservations to be canceled and rebooked, subject to availability and rebooking fees (up to $200 per ticket).
 

Painteddog Safari will not be held responsible for denial of service due to discrepancies between passport and ticket names. Tickets are valid only on the dates and flights issued; unused portions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
 

BAGGAGE

Baggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the journey. Allowances vary by trip and will be advised at booking. Excess baggage fees are the passenger’s responsibility and must be paid directly at the airport.
 

HOTELS

Accommodation will be provided in hotels or lodges listed in the itinerary or of a similar standard. Painteddog Safari reserves the right to substitute properties when necessary. Room assignments are at the discretion of each hotel. Requests (e.g., bed types, smoking preference, interconnecting rooms) are subject to availability.

Triple rooms usually include twin beds plus a rollaway or sofa bed for the third person. The number of occupants does not determine room size.
 

SIGHTSEEING, TRANSFERS, PORTERAGE & TIPS

Sightseeing and transfers are conducted in private vehicles unless otherwise noted. Transfers include one standard piece of luggage per person. Tips for guides and drivers are not included but are customary.
 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

During religious or national holidays, some sites and monuments may be closed. Itineraries may be adjusted accordingly.

HANDLING CHARGES

All rates include handling charges imposed by Painteddog Safari, covering communications, financial transactions, preparation and distribution of documents, and promotional costs, unless otherwise specified.

LAND AND AIR COSTS

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are based on tariffs, exchange rates, and schedules in effect at the time of quotation. Costs are subject to change without notice until final payment is received. No surcharges will be applied after final payment.

Published prices include accommodations (based on double occupancy), specified economy airfare within the itinerary, transfers, and sightseeing as outlined. Painteddog Safari is not obliged to provide a cost breakdown for individual journeys.

NOT INCLUDED

Prices do not include meals unless stated, visa fees, airport departure taxes, laundry, bottled water, beverages, or other personal expenses.
